My Journey

HugMore was started in 2009 based off of a passion, a love and a change in personal circumstances. I decided to take a leap of faith and work for myself doing what I loved to do serving the people and the community I've called my own. The only hindrance, at that time, was that I didn't fully take a leap of faith; because I had allowed for fear to restrain me. Due to this, HugMore became the "part-time" job rather than my full-time career and passion. “You can be doing something you truly love”; yet if you are holding onto other things that have no place in your heart you will be your own downfall.

Over the past 10 years I have revamped, recreated, and redirected my focus to the sole purpose and vision of what HugMore truly is and who it embodies. I have stopped living on the heels of fear, I have allowed myself to let go of the idea of perfection and just allow myself to be human. HugMore today is brighter, happier and in tune to what is needed by the community, not what others may want for them.

The emotions that I have experienced along this 10 year revamp has been a journey of happiness, confliction and full of tears, but never sad moments. HugMore has never been more ready for her debut to the public and it is in part due to my perseverance, dedication, and hard work; yet it is also because there were people who believed in me and my vision, and when I had forgotten about myself HugMore still stood there waiting.
